For last few months, I started thinking about "Insecurity" and how it has tied our lives and made our life insecure. I realize that I too living in various circles of insecurity - insecurity about my job, my career, my friends, my car, laptop and 'n' number of things.

Till few months back, my life was almost perfect. I was working tirelessly and a sense of strength was present in my working life. My closest buddy was also my team-mate in office that made my professional life much more easier. I had just found another good friend in the form of my car pool and she has been a real strength whenever I want to talk about something where I need the perspective of someone from the other gender.

When life was at its full swing, somekind of insecurity started creeping into my life. To overcome it, I started teaching my inner self that insecurity is unjustified and started talking about the same in front of my friends in a hope that I escape from this monster.

But Time is more powerful. The situation around me changed in the last few weeks. My closest buddy has just got a good job and moving out. He will no longer work with me after a week or so and now insecurity of working without him is making me weak. Some differences have emerged with my other friend on some personal issues and she and I are now behaving more formally than we should, though I feel that it is nothing but a temporary phase in our friendship. But still some sense of insecurity too has creeped in regarding her on whether my this formal behavior can actually ruin our othewise good friendship or we will back to our good self in the coming days. My job has not been as great which have made things much more difficult for me.

This entire turn of events has taught me a very good lesson which I would like to share. Life always test your beliefs and your attitude towards life. For ex., if a drunkard man decides to leave the liquor, the time will put him in front of pub or his circle of friends who drink with him several times to test whether his change in belief is really strong or not. Similarly, I think that time has put me into "Testing phase" and checking whether my change in belief of "leaving insecurity aside" has any substance in it or not.

The time is taking away everything around me that I rely upon to see whether I re-instill insecurity within me or not. Albeit, I hope that things will again turn on my side and I will be together once again with my friends or lead a great professional life. But before that, I need to be strong and patienty let the time play its role of a teacher perfectly.

We all might have played a role of a teacher or a mentor sometime, be it as small as teaching how to play cards or a game to our friends / family. If we closely introspect, how we do it???? We first teach the person how to play and then ask to play against us only just to see how much that person has learnt. I believe in a similar manner, the time instills a belief in us and then tests us whether we have learnt it properly or not. I am praying to god that indeed my belief in "leaving insecurity aside" will be tested successfully and I emerge out as much better person for myself and for my friends and family.

Jai Mata Di... Good Night!!!!

The new revolution called Facebook, Orkut and Twitter

Twitter bug has just hit me today in this change of season from Winters to Summer in the Norther Hemisphere... Well, the early bird impression is that it's really good. From one place, I was able to connect to people whom I admire like Barkha Dutt, Amitabh Bachhan, Imran Khan, Preity Zinta, Shruuti Seth and many more....

Somehow these social networking sites concept has big role to play in the future as people will scream more whenever they hear something bad / good happening. Whenever India win or lose the match against Pakistan, whenever any murder occur in the broad daylight or darkk night, whenever govt announce some wrong policies (which it often does)...

The revolution has slowly started online. The online community is quite vocal now a days on various issues that affect us. Slowly but gradually, the same crowd will gather on India Gate or Gateway of India with its protests and screams and then we will see the awakening.. The real face of democracy where everyone will be heard... In fact government will be forced to hear each and every complaint...

The day will come when people will meet @ borders and shatter the boundaries that have separated them physically and emotionally. The day will come when we will be able to go to Iran / Iraq / Europe on train without visas...

The traits for these events have been seen in the popularity of these social sites where people have connected to each other and they listen to each other... On Twitter, I mananged to read what Barkha Dutt wants to say about court orders on live-in relationship giving it equal status to marriage... This has all been possible for me through Twitter... I also managed to know about a new movie coming up with Imran Khan and Deepika Padukone as star leads...

Anyways, it's time to wrap up this lengthy tweets and say "Sayonaara". Though its time to sleep, but somewhere inside my soul is awakening. My soul can see some morning rays hitting it.

Good Morning everyone!!!

What makes the marriage click?

Before I sit down and does my usual, boring and routine office work from my home, I wanted to write about a topic that has suddenly hit my mind, thanks to stupid daily sops that my parents have been watching. The topic is “What makes the marriage click?”

I have rarely met a happy couple now a days, but one whom I remember doesn’t belong to our pizza generation. It has been my grandfather’s cousin brother. He came to our house last month, with his erstwhile girl friend and current wife. He is 76 and she is 72.

When they sat for lunch, I never knew that this naughty 76 year old man had once showed the courage to elope with my cousin grandmother, got married in Mumbai, spent together for few months there and then went to Pune to spend an year and half. Finally they returned back to Nabha – our village in Punjab with my father’s cousin sister (their daughter).

Anyways, I saw my grandfather not having lunch. I asked him and he said that he is waiting for my grandmother. That time I realized that she is talking on phone. I told him to start lunch and he said that he can wait. Later when they left, my father told me that it has been their ritual to have food together; else one of them is not in the home. Now, is that developed in heaven? No, it is built religiously through sincere efforts – trust and caring…

In the relationship, I have understood one thing clearly – the value of trust and caring. It further strengthens my belief that any relationship can only work if it is felt from both sides. Sadly though, now a days relationships are governed by practical needs – the needs of a beautiful wife, big cars, comfortable bank balance, etc.

Similarly, my cousin sister who has been married to a Bengali has also set a tradition that is an example of us. She had to go through tumulus first marriage, divorce before she found her love in Mumbai. My sister’s husband is a Bengali, her mother-in-law is Marathi, her father-in-law is a Bengali, and her sister-in-law is married to a South Indian. Both my sister and her husband live like a friend, do the house hold chores together, have drinks together, but yet they respect each other individuality. He sometimes spends time with his friends, she goes for movies with her friends at times and the relationship is well-balanced and really enjoyable.

Another relationship is of my elder sister, who finds her partner through arrange marriage. They both are again more of a friend than spouse. My sister’s husband has never restricted my sister’s independence after the marriage. She is now running her own business, and my sister’s husband is doing his job. They both share each other workload – he helps her in her business and she makes sure that she is free and spends time with him when he is at home. Now what we derive out of this relationship is trust, friendship and care. He has not among those guys who create tantrum when his wife talks to a stranger guy. Rather he trusts his wife completely which makes the pair beautiful and adorable. This also reflects in my niece who is intelligent and lovely, because the family overall has built its foundation strong.

When I see and try to understand these marriages, I find that dominance, suspicious, fear, individual expectations and jealousy live far away from their relationships. It is not that their relationship never had the challenges. They had it, but they just hold each other hands and move through it. Sadly though, I feel that current married couples don’t have the audacity to pass the tough phase and these marriages often collapse during testing times.

Luckily though relationship like my grandfather had, give me the hope that his grandson may had the one beautiful relationship in this life…

Losers children and parents

Today while coming back from office, I remember a story that I read few days back- the story was about two friends who belonged to different genders. Both semed quite devoted to their new families (post marriage) but losing the thread that attach them with their parents.

The story is worth learning so I thought why not share it with you.

The male friend, lives with his parents, and is planning to settle abroad for better standard of living. He doesn't have any brother and hence, his parents are dependent upon him at the old age. He later moves abroad, and take some years before he settles there. Meanwhile, his parents have learnt to live alone in India and slowly but gradually, learn to live without him. At the same time, he too learn to live without them and then, his contact with his parents are on phone / occassional visits to the country.

Hence, his individual purusuits end up taking him away from the parents. The day then comes, when they both leave this world and then, loneliness starts creeping in and remind him of their love and affection. He also feel guilt that his improved standard of living is not able to fill the emptiness that his parents have left. Then, this loneliness pushes him to talk about the love and affection of their parents on the drinks table. He also prayed to god that his children won't do the same with him. Thus, the end is full of emptiness despite good bank balance.

Similarly, his female friend who is also married and seem happy with his husband is moving on somewhat similar lines. She is married and happily settled, but her husband only loves her and not her parents. His high male ego prompts him spending time alone than spending with her parents. Now whether it is dedicated love for his wife, or insecurity towards sharing her with anyone else is only known to him.

She has no brother and hence, somewhat responsibility about her parents lie on her. She tries little small things that she does to please her husband but forgets the bigger sacrifices that her parents have done for her while she grown up. Her parents too learn to live alone without her. Soon, she has two children and her visits to her parents' house confined to festivals, albeit without her husband. Her parents only live those days when their daughter visit the house. And one day, they too leave this world and she is only left with a husband, whose love is not as intense as it was used to be. Her children went to abroad and she too ends up being lonely.

In both the cases, who ends up being loser. In my views, both they and their parents end up on the losing side. Both end up having a emptiness in their kitty and guilt that they were not able to serve their parents like the way they could have done that. On the other side, the parents end up as any other old-aged couple, who wait for their "grown-up-and-responsible-kids" who have their individual pursuits to make their individual life better.

The story is a sad one, but indicates the harsh realities of today. It indicates that they we are unable to set right priorities for ourselves in the life. We tend to forget our responsibilities that we have for our parents and move towards fulfilling our ambitions that seem so important to us. We find tricks and ways to please our friends / spouse but don't even plan a small trick to please our parents who have nobody but us to please us.

Think about it, even if you seem so busy because there is someone in this world still who loves you from your heart!!!

Am I living in a sexist society?

Recently, most of the news that caught the limelight had a sex angle attached to it and it led me think that are our society is going towards "extreme sexism"??

News regarding N.D.Tiwary - governor of Andhra Pradesh in a sex encounter with three women in the governor's house is shocking, not because he is a governor but more because he is in an octogerian (80+ years old). In my view, he must be the brand ambassador for Viagra because of hs high libido at such an old age. Or he must join Osho to learn the right essence of phsyical fulfillment.

Another news that came into limelight was a rape case against DGP in Haryana in Chandigarh where the girl was a 16 year old, who was later killed. Her friends and family, were later harassed by the police for several years. Now when media is putting its back behind the girl, that justice now seems possible. Now, one should ask the DGP that why he needed to commit such an heinous crime?? If he has such a high libido, I am sure his wife would simple love to have such a man in the bed, especially when reports say that more than 70% women do not able to achieve orgasm in their married life. What do his children think about him now?? I am sure they would probably don't feel ashamed of doing the same if got the chance, because now they know that their parents can't stop them, as they did the same in their life too.

Another news clipping regarding "rape attempt" was published in the newspaper. This time in Goa where two russians become the probable victims of a taxi driver. The women needed to run from the taxi and hide in bushes for five hours before they found some noble men to rescue them. Again, a psyche to have sex with white women. Ass hole!!! Never thought that color of the skin doesn't matter. What matters is the respect and the love of the other person. If his girl-friend / wife doesn't love him or allow sex, then he must seek a divorce and find another person than resorting to such activities. At worse, he can always help himself to relieve of such high sexual tensions.

All these events made me feel that our society has liberalized only in context of physical being. We have learnt to wear good clothes, study in a co-ed school, work together with the other gender, but our emotional being is still to get moderated.

Hence it becomes a necessity to impart sex education in the high school and college, when children come into the sexual age. This is the right timw when one must taught about emotional values of other person, what sex really means and how to respect the phsyical and emotional being of the other person. Till the time we don't impart such values into our society, we will continue to read such news more often.

I am ending it with a famous Osho quote on transformation

"All that this world needs is a good cleansing of the heart of all the inhibitions of the past. And laughter and tears can do both. Tears will take out all the agony that is hidden inside you and laughter will take all that is preventing your ecstasy. Once you have learned the art you will be immensely surprised."

Thank you Santa!!!!

It is my usual habit to give a title to my post before I write it. May be, because I usually know what I am writing. But today, my thoughts are not clear, and hence, I am waiting before I finish this post to find a suitable heading for this post.

The Christmas eve is the festival to celebrate the happiness. Santa Claus is loved by people around the world because the Saint visits his followers and shower them with joy and happiness. What does Santa expect us in return??? I suppose, Nothing, because his karma is to spread happiness among the common people who are engulfed with tough situations and loads of problems.

I had a great Christmas eve at my friend's place yesterday and realized that something which money can't buy is the happiness. Just with my childhood friends, having a night out with them, drinking, remembering the old days - some good and some bad made all us happy. The good night sleep at 3:30 A.M was full of satisfaction.

So today afternoon, I thought why not I wish my other friends? So I started browsing through my mobile phone book and started calling my friends. The exercise brought me a pleasant suprise when I get to know that my college mate was sitting in Mumbai airport and waiting to take a flight for Delhi on vacation trip. We immediately made a program to meet on Sunday evening when we will have drinks and discuss the good time we had in the college. Another friend of mine has just come back from USA after three months of training and he told me about his amazing experience of still-the-world's richest country.

Sadly though, two of my friends disappointed. One didn't pick up the phone. He has this eternal program of only picking up the phone, when he needs my help. Else, he doesn't bother to. Still I thought, why not give it a try???

Another friend of mine, whom I consider her as my good friend, disconnected my call. Even she has this bad habit of doing the same at times. I felt disappointed because I called them up, not to ask them for any assistance, but to wish them Merry Christmas and tell that I wish a good 2010 year for them.

I wish they are happy and I hope it is just the coincidence that they didn't able to make up the call. Or else, may be they don't bother, because either they might be really busy that day or have too many good wishes in their kitty to collect anymore. Personally, I crave for blessings and good wishes because they are priceless. You might have hell lots of money, hundreds of friends, but a time might come when nobody are able to help them. In such times, these good wishes help a person come out of the tough situations.

I felt sad for few minutes, but later felt that may be it is not in my destiny to wish my two good friends. Henceforth, I called up two extra people from my phone book whom I ignored presuming that they are no longer friends.

The Christmas evening gave me a very good lesson, that one should not let other waiting for you. One should always try to respond to a call, or else make sure give a call back if you disconnect due to any reason. May be Santa Claus want to teach me this good lesson on Christmas eve and hence, let such thoughts come into my mind.

Thank you Santa!!!! (I think I can make this as my title for the post :)

A real Big Boss around us

Big Boss III is not as exciting as the previous two ones were. Yet all these editions give a glimpse into the negative aspects of human psyche. Charles Darwin "Survival of the fittest" law simply fits best into the Big Boss house. There is no permanent friend, no permanent enemy but one permanent target... to escape from the week's nomination and get as much popularity votes as possible.

Similarly, we are also living a Bigg Boss life in our real world. It exists in the professional world and is felt by those who work in the multi nationals. I too belong to the same genre of people who earn bread and butter by working in a corporate world and feel the same bitchiness and friendliness exist around me that we so often see in Big Boss.

It has many similarities to the Big Boss House. Like Big Boss, there is no permanent friend in the corporate world. The person whom you think as your friend can be the one who is nominating you on your back. He can be the one who is leaking your dirty secrets to the people who might be targetting you. And why your friend is doing it... because he wants to move up in the ladder by putting you down.

Another similarity is the bitchiness. It is falsely assumed that people is corporate world work day and night. In fact why it takes day and night to work because people spend more time bitching about others than doing their work. Like Big Boss House where we see small groups coming up and criticizing others, we see small groups within the team that have been bitching about the common threats like a hard working person whom everyone see it as a threat to their rise.

Henceforth if someone criticizes Big Boss House serial, then I think it is the time for him to introspect and see how many Big Boss houses are opened around him and in how many he has been actively participating. The serial is nothing but is a mirror for the psyche that is prevelant in today's society. That's why we like to see it and evaluate.

Hence, I would suggest that it is the time for us to introspect and evaluate on how we can stop such Big Boss houses around us to thrive. The best remedy is not to participate in them. Rather than bitching about others, we must learn to overcome our own short comings. Keep doing the good work and have a faith in almighty. Even if he doesn't give you the materialistic happiness, it would surely deliver you the much needed salvation and power of faith, which would make you a happy person.

Sadly, we don't even think that at what cost the happiness and joy comes. It costs nothing but a smile from the heart. And how it comes... more often by helping others. Just imagine the happiness that one might get when he happens to help a blind person in crossing the road. Or probably helping an old aunty and uncle in getting something from the markets which he / she are not able to due to their old age. It costs nothing, but will grow happiness in each others' heart and soon the world around you will be a happy place. By livng this way, you will help Big Boss in fulfilling its objective. Not the Big Boss that comes on TV but The Big Boss that governs the whole world, the almighty.

I hope I am able to deliver my views on Big Boss in our life. If you have something, do write in your comments.
Ameen!!!!

No reason to get married

It’s my marriageable age according to my friends and family, but I haven’t found a reason to get married. Just because I have a decent pay packet, a nice family, doesn’t motivate me to go and find a life partner for myself.

One of the reasons behind it is the adjustment (which few call sacrifices) that one has to go to float the marriage. If one thinks honestly, how much sacrifice we make to live with our parents, or to make friends. The answer is absolutely nothing!!!! We live with our parents because they really love us and we love them too. Similarly, we love our friends, because they shower us the love and help us when we need them.

But when it comes to marriage now a days, I have seen couples making too many sacrifices to live with each other. The love is somewhere lost or was never there from the beginning. What was present from the beginning is some hope, some financial status, some social status which couples strive to maintain till the very end.

Hence what I think is to find friends, make everyone happy around you and hope that god provides you the one who is more of a friend than a partner. And if you don’t get one, live alone and be thankful to god that he is not tying to soe superficial relationships that create more emptiness in your heart and in your life.

Sorry guys!!! If I have shaken you up with my negative thoughts on the marriage but the fact is that I don’t want end up as a family cow who is milked by every person and finally be thrown to the butcher when has nothing to offer.

Good Night….

Find your path and be successful

One of the finest poems I have read till now is "Madhushala". It is written by Harivansh Rai Bachhan and sung by Manna Dey.

One of its stanza states:
"Madiralaya Jaane ko chalta hai peene waala,
Kis Path se jaaon asmanjas mein hai bhola bhala,
Alag alag path batalaate sab,
Par main yeh batlata hun,
Rah pakad tu ek chala chalPaa Jaayega Madhushala..."

Those who don't understand Hindi much, the poem talks about a person who wants to go to bar to have drink, but doesn't know the way to the bar.

The poet narrates that the person meets many people on the way to the bar and everyone tells him to follow a different path to find it. He is confused and doesn't know whom to believe. The poet comes to its rescue and tells him that if he wants to find the bar, he should trust any one person and follows his direction. He will surely find the bar in the end.

In other words, life is too the same. There are so many sects, so many religions, so many beliefs that one gets confused which one to follow to make ones life successful. But what he doesn't realize that each one of these beliefs gives the common messages to the followers:

1) Love everyone
2) Help Others
3) Spread Happiness
4) Pray to almighty
5) God is one
6) Do not cheat or betray
7) Meditate

Every path is good, provided it helps your grow awareness and become a better person than before. Henceforth, one should not live in the state of confusion for too long. In the end, one needs to follow certain belief and adopt it teachings in one's life to make it successful.

"Find your path and be successful in your life."

Marathi or Non-Marathi – an example of Divided Mentality

The world today is a divided place. Somewhere, it is divided on the basis of color, somewhere on the basis of nationalities, somewhere on the basis of religion and caste, and now a new division… on the basis of state. Raj Thackeray led campaign to divide Marathi and Non-Marathi has brought on shore, a century long division, which lived peacefully beneath our mentality.

In North India, especially in Delhi and Punjab, we have seen many laborers coming from rural areas of eastern UP and Bihar. Most of these people are uneducated and hence, work largely as laborers in factories and offices. Whenever they make any mistake, we shout loudly and say “Abe o Bihari!!! Dekh ke nahi kaam karta kya?”

Similarly, when we encounter anyone from North-East, we call them as “Nepali”, or “Gorkha” and girls as “Chinkis”. The girls from North-east face the maximum brunt of eve-teasing, since they lead an open life, wear modern dresses and are more dominant than their male counterparts. Hence, disparity of region is not a new one. It was existent within us since long time. Raj Thackeray only exploited it to solve his political purpose.

However, this can change, if we all decide to change us. People who have come to Delhi or Mumbai are due to the necessity, since they don’t have many options in their native villages and towns to earn and live a decent life. We must respect their problem and try to behave patiently with them. How bad we feel when our boss scolds us in Office for not doing something right. We expect him to be patient and tell us politely about the mistake we have made. Similarly, we must guide them and teach them when they go wrong.

Also, a wrong person doesn’t represent a religion, caste or area. He is wrong because of his own deeds. Blaming the entire community, religion or region is the incorrect parameter to look at.

Another thing that we must try to eradicate from our society is the “division on the basis of economic class”. Today, the peon in my office, who is probably of my father’s age, greets me with “Hello Sir”, “Bye Sir”, or “Good Night Sir”. Why??? It is because I earn more and stand high in the stature to him. However, my education teaches me to treat him with respect. But one day, when I am in a bad mood, chances are probable that I may scold him for a small mistake, unfortunately, he may do.

We must try to treat every person, not on the basis of his economic class. Rather, we must give him the respect that he truly deserves for his age, behavior and work.

Well, these things have been growing within me, from the day I read about Raj Thackrey exploits. More than him, we are ourselves to blame. It is because, the day we change our behavior towards others, politicians like him will not able to exploit us.

Please feel free to share your views by writing a comment below or by emailing at mayank.jhanji@gmail.com

Is it so easy to earn money from the Stock Market?

While growing up in the family of “Failed but Ever-optimistic Stock Traders”, I often heard my father and grandfather repeating one statement – “Out of 10 people, who invest in the stock market, only one earns the profit and that one person takes away the entire investments of other 9 people.”

But I often wonder that despite stock market being such a tough preposition, people flocked to it with an impression that they will come out with rich dividends every time. Arguably, it is the mirage of easy and quick money that attract people towards this mode of investment, despite falling miserably many a times in the past.

Well, I am not pessimistic abut stock markets or favor what my father or grandfather say, but just want to say that “Investing money in stock market is as major decision as it with investing your money in any other business. So, one must have a realistic plan in its mind on how to earn money from the stock market before entering into it”.

Let’s start with an example. One fine day two investors – Anil Bhai and Mukesh Bhai decided to invest 1 lakh Rs in the stock market.

Anil Bhai, like most of the investors, is excited and raring to invest his money in stock market, with a hope to get good returns in quick time. He observed that “Doolittle Technologies” has gained almost 40% in last 5 days. The stock is currently at Rs 21.

He feels tempted to enter this stock at current levels since it’s a cheap stock and belongs to the booming IT sector. He also watched analysts on TV predicting Doolittle to reach Rs. 50 in next 1 month because the company is hoping to get the banking project from Europe’s largest bank. He feels satisfied and purchases 2000 shares of Doolittle at Rs. 25.

Ahh!! All set to watch this stock going double in next 1 month. Sadly though, the news about proposed investment came out false and stock after touching 30 went down to Rs. 15. In other words, back to the initial levels.

Bechaare! Anil Bhai is now trapped in Doolittle Technologies, and like any other investor, has no other option than to wait for a good day when it will touch 21 and he will be able to come out of this failed investment.

Well, if we analyze his investment closely, here are few points that come out:

1) No underlying criteria - Anil Bhai investment was based on two criteria – it is a cheap stock and it belongs to IT sector. Both these criteria had no underlying value since a cheap stock doesn’t guarantee profits and not every IT company gives returns like Infosys or TCS.

2) Purely Speculative - Anil Bhai investment was pure on speculation basis since the “Doolittle Technologies was hoping to get the banking project” and did not confirm that it actually “got the project”.

3) No Logic, Only Emotions - Anil Bhai did not look at company’s financial performance in the past and in the end, the decision was purely an emotional one rather than the logical one.

4) No Risk Projection - And the most important is that he never had any risk projection. In other words, he never took an alternative view that what will be his stance, in case, the investment start generating losses. Ideally, he should have taken the approach of “Stop Loss” that ensures his position got squared-off if it fall to the assigned level. Thus, by using this approach, he could have limited his loss and able to come out of this clutch.

Now, let’s look at Mukesh Bhai. He is also an eager investor, though he has made some wrong investments in the past like Anil Bhai. But the only difference is that he is willing to learn from its past mistakes and is determined that he won’t repeat them again.

This time, instead of floating with the market sentiments, he decides to analyze few things before putting his hard-earned money in any stock. He is not looking at exponential gains, rather looking to get somewhat better than what he can get from fixed returns. So, instead of looking at cheap stocks or current favorite sector, he analyzed the stock on the basis of some logical parameters:

1) Financial Performance – Mukesh Bhai observed that companies with good financial platform are more likely to go up since they are more capable to override any inevitable situation and also in a better position to grow in future.

2) Future Plans – Mukesh Bhai is willing to invest his money in those companies that are likely to grow in future. In other words, companies that contain a realistic vision to become leader in their segment or if they are leaders, willing to sustain that position.

3) Sectorial View – Like Anil Bhai, Mukesh Bhai also believes in taking a call on the sector to which the company belongs to. But his opinion is a bit different. Instead of using Sector as the benchmark criteria, Mukesh Bhai considers sectorial analysis to take a deeper look at the company future prospects. In other words, sector does play an important role but cannot guarantee company’s profit by any means.

4) Past Returns – Sometimes, a good company doesn’t give good returns to investors in the stock market. It could be due to reluctant management, which doesn’t believe in sharing profits with investors or any other reason. Therefore, Mukesh Bhai decided to look at the past returns that the particular stock has given to its investors.

5) Realistic Expectations – Well, nobody will mind if his /her investments generate huge profits. But in this unpredictable stock market, Mukesh Bhai wants to be realistic with his expectation. Once deciding the stock that he wants to purchase, he also pens down the price range (on the upside) at which he will come out of the investment. Thus, by taking this approach, he is able to withhold his emotions and let logic rules over unrealistic expectations.

6) Risk Projection – Mukesh Bhai is aware about the deep losses that he suffered in the past. Thus, to limit the losses in case of any trend reversal, Mukesh Bhai has also pen down the Stop Loss Price. If the market price of his stock goes down the Stop Loss Price, he will square-off the position and come out with limited losses. Indiabulls Online Trading System enables you to place a Stop Loss order in the Capital as well as F&O Market.

Now, if I ask you who has better prospects to earn from the stock market – Anil Bhai or Mukesh Bhai, you will most probably say ‘Mukesh Bhai’ because he applied logics rather than emotions while investing money in stock market.

Well, I hope you do not make mistakes as my father, grandfather or Anil Bhai did by using their emotions rather than the logic. Be aware and realistic from your investment because it is no Magic but a pure Logic that can fetch you great returns!!!

Wish you all a very Happy Investing!!

Indian Army - fighting the battle within

Indian Army has always been a trademark of Discipline, Sincerity and Brave Attitude - be it about defeating the brutal enemy on the hills of Kargil or playing a pivotal role in UNO Peace Keeping Force.

Sadly though, the army is going through a rough patch today . In this era of Globalisation, it is facing a new enemy that doesn't come from across the borders but residing within the minds of its brave soldiers. This new enemy is STRESS - stress to serve their country on borders on one side and stress to feed their family on the other side. Furthermore, they have to live far away from their families for longer period of time, which sometimes prove disastrous on their mental strength.

For an instance, if we look closely at the recent arms leak scams. It shows the kind of turbulence that is going within the army fraternity. Today, the ordinary soldiers are finding difficult to motivate themselves when it comes to serving their country since they are not getting the kind of appreciation that they truly deserve. Furthermore, the humble salaries that they are getting are also pushing them towards crimes like spying for other countries who pay handsome amount to extract sensitive information from them.

Another glaring issue is the shooting incidents that have increased quite substantially in recent years. Within the last fortnight, 4 army men have been killed by their own fellow men in Kashmir only. Besides, suicide by a women soldier recently has also shown that one needs some urgent reforms within the army to maintain the integrity and the harmony within its ranks.

The first and the foremost issue that needs to be resolved is to provide them with adequate financial and other benefits. Though, it is true that army gets essential commodities at very less prices but there are other aspects where it needs facilities that a normal citizen gets. For ex., increased number of schools and colleges, especially around those villages from where bulk of the army men come. Further clearing my point, children of army men must get the good education to ensure that they grow up into proud sons and daughers of their deserve worthy fathers.

Secondly, is to impart army with multitude skills. Most of the army men join army at a very young age and probably many of them are deprived of studies that would like to complete. Thus, every soldier must be regularly feed with short-term courses across various areas to broaden their mental capabilities and enhance their skills.

Army has always been full of great leaders who led their battalion with an example. This Exemplary beheavior should be seen more often in army now a days. The leader of a group, team, or a battalion must care for its sub-ordinates - be it their personal issues or their professional needs. By forwarding their caring hands, stress levels within the army can be reduced substantially and one can again seen soldiers with their head helds high guarding the country borders.

I am just 24 yr old and never been to border in my life. But, seeing my dear army friends breaking down under stress has teared me from within. That's why I am here to pen down my thoughts. I do not know how right or wrong I am but I know that you have some better ideas than what I wrote. All it needs is some time to voice your concerns. Friends!! Take out some of your time and share your views on how can we help our fellow army men who keep 24X7 vigilance on the borders to give us sunny days to enjoy and calm nights to sleep.

JAI HIND!!!

Dilemma of being the parent of a child

Just three words "It is pity" reflects all. When a vice-principal of one of the prestigious schools in the capital of India is found taking donation (even bribe won't be an inappropriate word) on hidden camera, it shows where our education system is heading to.

Though currently, I’m basking in the glory of bachelorhood and don’t have any experience in managing family affairs; yet if I assume myself as a parent of one kid, I find myself helpless on how to get a good education for him.

I cannot go to a Govt school for known reasons. The conditions are pathetic and cannot let my child use stinking toilets or drink water full of germs. Besides, outdated educational methods and unavailability of sincere teachers further strengthen my concerns about government schools efficiency in bringing out out a good citizen from my kid.

Now, if I go to private schools, authorities demand exorbitant money in the form of donations and monthly fees. One school takes my interview to get my kid admitted. Other asks me to pay donation generously to their education trust if I want my son to study in their reputed school.

Amidst such frenzy atmosphere, an Education Agent contacts me and promises me to get admission for my kid in a reputed school without much hassle. In lieu, he demands commission or service charges from me. Thus, in the end, I am left with very few options. I either fit an iron lungs and kidneys to my child and send him to a Govt school or shell out all my savings to get him admitted to a private school.

Today, every parent is living in such a dilemma. Social Status and good educational background is pushing every parent to provide quality education for their children as well. But when they go out, they find no help from the government and so called Education Trusts. Sometimes, I feel wonder that why we pay education cess or tax every year when government can’t even provide basic facilities of Education and Electricity to its citizens.

Whatever happened last week was not a sensation if you ask a parent of any school going kid. Majority of them have gone through interviews and donation webs to get their child admitted in a private school. Often they are asked to pay donation for building, chairs, desks etc. Even one school in Delhi is famous for asking a 14 lac CNG bus from one parent when he went to them for his son’s admission.

But who is to be blamed?? Today, Government looks like a replica of a drunkard and lusty king who doesn’t care about ‘praja’ of its state. Though this same king leaves no stone un-turned when it comes to collecting tax from its ‘praja’ – sometimes in the form of service charges and sometimes as Education Cess.

On the other side, Education Trusts have also become a generous route to collect money from parents now a days. They collect donations (ransom) from parents in the form of social development but where that money goes can be seen from the bludgeoning profit sheet of Swiss Bank. :)

Bribe, this time in the form of Donation, has seeped deeply into our education system. Today, education is not provided rather sold and purchased and sometimes I wonder how our children can become honest and law abiding citizens when they see their parents taking wrong route to build first few steps of their long social life.

It’s time to bring a change. It's time to awaken and take steps that ensure better and promise future for the coming generations. If we can force govt to act on the issues of Jessica Lal and Reservation, we can do the same this time as well. All we need is a collective effort.

The most significant change we must bring is in our 'dena hi padega' attitude. Rather than buckling under Agents and greedy educational institutions, we must stand united against them and report such incidents to the media or active NGOs. Always remember that “EDUCATION IS THE BIRTH RIGHT OF EVERY CITIZEN AND IT IS UP TO US TO AVAIL THEM WITH FULL DIGNITY AND RIGHTS.”

Mandal Commission 2006 reignites caste-merit debate….

During my upbringing, I often came across this ironclad question, “Who came first - A hen or an egg???” Quite on the similar line, today Indian society, in wake of Mandal Commission recommendations, looks divided between the two aspects – Merit or Caste and which contains the higher priority of the two. Come!! Let’s find out… What’s the real gush all about...?

People who support Mandal Commission recommendation like janissaries swear by the fact that India’s 52% population belongs to backward section of the society. Thus, in view of this, they are entitled to half of the seats available in the educational institution. For these people, cast comes before the merit because they fear that students who hail from rural India won’t be able to compete with their counterparts residing in Urban India due to lack of modern education that is imparted to children in the urban class. Thus, to uplift rural people and bring them to the mainstream society, Reservation is a must.

On the contrary, antagonists who go against the Mandal Commission recommendations come with a view that in the 21st century, India needs talented people to uplift country from “A Developing Nation” to “The Developed Nation”. For these people, Mandal Commission recommendations come as an obstacle that could hamper country’s growth and pull down it back into the age of casteism where your last name matters more than the numbers in your mark sheet.

Like there are two sides for every coin, each aspect has its implications. With seat reservation for SC/ST/OBC and its proper implementation, one good thing that can happen to our society is the mingling of rural and urban India. In coming days, we can see students living in rural India who are really talented coming to these educational institutions and becoming a part of mainstream society as respected citizens.

On the flip side, there are some serious doubts over its implementation. My own real life experience with the wrongful use of reservation came when I appeared for Delhi College of Engineering entrance exam. One of my friends, who belonged to the SC/ST grade, got admission in the college despite scoring much lesser than what I got. What was my fault?? I was left out because I belonged to General Category. Thus, there is a genuine fear that this quota system will benefit mostly to bunch of SC /ST people who are affluent and not to those who really need it the most.

Similarly, merit system has its inherited advantages. Merit system gives an equal platform to every one in the society to prove their talent and claim the accolades. Probably, this is why IITs and IIMs today have the reputation of forking out the cream of technical and managerial skills available in the country. Undoubtly, with seat reservations, their reputation will come to stake since they need to forcefully accommodate students who might not able to live up to their expectations.

But merit system has its share of flaws as well. It is heavily biased towards the genre of students who can undertake coaching classes from premier institutes and tune themselves easily with IIT/IIM syllabus. Practically, can we expect the poor farmer who faces drought and floods every year to provide his son the quality education, which is comparable to what students get in urban cities? The answer is NO and often we see the son ending up as the assisting hand helping his father on the field. Thus, to provide equal opportunities for every section, we need some kind of mechanism, which can ensure that no particular section of the society goes heavily biased.

In sensitive issues like Seat Reservation, we need to make decisions carefully. Rather than cashing on vote banks (V.P.Singh’s Janta Party or Arjun Singh’s Congress), political leaders should resolve this issue with a right frame of mind since its outcome could influence the country strategically.

Though, the best solution in my view is to implement it for a specific period of time. In other words, we can initially reserve seats for the backward sections for next 5-7 years and during that period of time, we try to uplift these people and include them in the mainstream like by providing them free education at lower grades, subsidized fees for higher studies, providing them basic necessities like electricity, phones, hospitals etc and gradually empower them. Once we achieve this target, we can now provide everyone the platform to showcase their talent.

Friends, it was just a point of view from my side to resolve this touching issue between Caste and Merit. I know you all have something to say about this issue especially if you are young or have naughty young ones in your family.

Speak out friends… Because in democracy, this is our right as well as duty to say what we think is right…

Mayank, Delhi.

Jessica Lal Murder Case- Should we only blame Courts???

80 odd people celebrating in a party late night around 2:00 AM, 2 more added later but they were miscreants and in a drunkard state. They asked for more, which was refused politely. Soon, booze overrided their senses and they opened fire on an innocent woman.... And she died on the spot.

Soon, police came, took samples, recorded evidences and filed the case. Law took over from there and after 7 long years came out with the verdict that led all of us think atleast once that “Is Justice really blind???”

We all know that inncocent woman was Jessica Lal. We all know that accused Manu Sharma is acquitted by the Court and probably will kill somebody else next time without any hesitation because he knows law cannot chain him; instead he chained law with his powerful hands...

It is human tendency to blame others for all problems and sufferings. We don’t hesitate to point our finger to blame bureaucrat driven police and politically influenced court verdicts. But question is that should we only blame courts??? Can't we evaluate ourseleves and find out where are we standing wrong???

There were 80 odd people in the party but nobody forward to record their statement. And those who did turned hostile later. The verdict might go the other way if ‘Shayan Munshi’ hadn’t hostile at the last moment.

Courts and law are made by us and for our good. Court cannot put anyone behind the bars forever until and unless there are substantial evidences against him. Law is just a system of keeping things in right order. Eventually, it is us who need to empower this system. It is high time that we all should wake up. Rather than living life of coward, we must take the responsibility and ensure that crime is controlled and those who did wrong deeds must land behind bars.

Friends… I said what I thought was right in my perspective. Now its time for YOUR SAY on such incidents and how we can ensure that crime can be curbed and law becomes a fear factor for criminals....

Mayank, Delhi, India

Another forgotten hero- Kuldeep Singh

He is now partially deaf, blind and lost his right hand as well... All this to save people around him...

He is not Patriotic Major Kuldeep Singh (Sunny Deol) of Border fame but not less than that... He is not courageous Khairuddin Kishti (Nasserudin Shah) of Karma fame but lot more than that... He is a Real hero not the Reel hero...

He is Kuldeep Singh, DTC driver who came into limelight in wake of Delhi Blast last year when he saved many lives by throwing an explosive away from the bus that he was driving. Unfortunately, bomb blasted in his hand and he was badly wounded. Since then, he is undergoing treatement at AIIMS to revive his eye sight.

Oct 29th, 2005; the day when terrorists again decipherd their brutal nature into bombs that took more than 70 lives and injuring more than 200 people. Lives of those, who are unknown to them, lives of those who have no enmity with them and of lives of those who were totally unaware of what's terrible coming their way on this Diwali's eve.

The toll could have been much higher, if Kuldeep Singh wouldn't have shown his great presence of mind. Terrorists, in their evil pursuit of blood, wrapped one of the bombs in a plastic bag and planted under a seat of a DTC bus driven by Kuleep Singh. Incidentally, one of the passengers saw the suscipious bag lying under a seat.

On seeing this, Kuldeep Singh immediately asked people to move out of the bus and rushed to the seat under which it was planted. Soon he realized that the bus is loaded with 9 CNG cylinders and if this bomb is not defused soon; could rip off the entire area. Showing his courage and sense of bravery, he picked the bag and took it away from the bus. Sadly though, the bomb blasted when he was about to throw it away in a secluded place. These sudden events took him to nation's centerstage and made him the National hero.... A real Hero who is brave and courage enough to stand up to the cause, when it really matters the most.

Sadly though, the man who refused to let himself down against external forces is feeling betrayed by his fellow people for whom he endangerd his own life. Politicians came to meet him at the hospital, saluted his bravery epic, promised their support to him and his family and again went into their shell. Nothing is done except the free medical care at AIIMS.

Media too were not behind either. They immediately rushed to get his pictures, went to his house, took interviews of everyone in the neighborhood, his relatives, his family and after cashing on every TRP opportunity again seem to forget him. Probably they will again wake up after six months or so, put blame on politicians, gain some TRP ratings and go back to their conventional business of sting operations and spy cams.

We, the respected citizens of Delhi, are perfect example of weak and surrender persona. Kuldeep Singh was discussed in every household and in every office during lunch time but his sacrifice again seem lost amidst our set of petty problems.

Yet, the reality is that Kuldeep Singh is still alive and in a terrible state. He has lost his vision. His arms are not working either and he is looking for people who promised him financial support.

1) Will Politicians come forward and fulfill their promises??
(Instead of supporting his family, Delhi Govt is deducting HRA from his salary and leaving him with paltry Rs. 5,000 to support his family)

2) Will anybody give him a decent job to feed him and his family stomach respectfully?
(He is being allotted new profile of Vehicle Inspector with DTC for which he will be given Rs 5,000 only. Is that enough to support a family??)

3) Will media continue to highlight him and stand up for his cause, as it should be?
(Instead of trapping good-for-nothing politicianswith spy cams, try to focus your camera on these unsung heroes of our society)

4) Will we all come forward and invite him back to the mainstream society?
(Friends... We all should awake and feel responsibilty)

Kuldeep is a real hero and still as brave as always. He is still optimistic to drive the bus again, wants to see his son grow into another hero like him and planning to visit Vaishno Devi shrine with his family once he is discharged from the hospital...

Today, after around 5 months of this tragic incident, do we have few seconds even to think about this man who saved so many lives without caring a bit about himself or his family??

Friends, enjoy your weekend tomorrow, go out with family and friends, party hard as you always do... But do give just few seconds to these forgotten heros like Kuldeep Singh because of whom we are living secure in this forgettable and erstwhile intolerant society...

Jai Hind!!!!!!!

Ah!! Monsoon Season...

"As dark gray clouds gather in the sky, it reminds me of eternal gifts that our Mother Nature has presented to us.”

Truly, nature has her own subtle way of expressing love and affection to us. During monsoon season, when tiny rain droplets fall to the ground, the sky gives an impression of an estranged mother who is shedding tears in joy on meeting her beloved children. Though, it seems like a philosophical illusion, yet portrays the kindness that nature has showered on us by creating monsoon season to enjoy.

If someone denies its desire to get wet in the rain, probably he or she is lying. A little kid in us who is lost in ages of maturity suddenly pops out when it sees tiny droplets falling on to the earth. The temptation to get wet and enjoy the raindrops falling on our body is irresistible.

In metros and cities, we can see the joy of monsoon on everyone faces. Kids dancing on streets, elders enjoying rain in the balcony of their house and women preparing hot pakoras and coffee for everyone in the family are hallmark of first monsoon rain. And what else the romantic lovers want better than the rainy season to spend some intimate moments with each other. We can see them sharing a common umbrella on a local bus stand or going for a long drive to invoke those romantic moments that were kept in backseat thanks to scotching summer heat. In its own elusive way, it somehow justifies the renowned MasterCard advertisement that says “There are some things that money can’t buy, for everything else use MasterCard.” Truly, these moments of happiness and sense of togetherness are priceless and cannot be bought, rather felt and loved. Ah!! Monsoon Season.

In rural areas where agriculture is the primary source of income, the season of rains bears a special significance. Faces of hope gazing at sky towards smallest of cloud spread, anxious look of farmers at their fields on which their future depends and community prayers in villages for timely rains are traits of anxiety of people in rural areas just before the monsoon season. In some manner, this ambience is explained rhythmically in a song from Aamir Khan’s internationally acclaimed movie ‘Lagaan’ that goes like “Kaale Megha Kaale Megha, Paani to Barsaao”.

And why not so when two-third of our population is directly or indirectly related to agriculture for its livelihood and nearly a quarter of country’s economy is dependent upon agriculture. For them, good monsoon not only brings the bumper harvest but consequently also improved standards of living.

Indian Culture has a long tradition of using festivals as medium to mark the beginning and conclusion of any season. Consequently, there are many festivals associated with the onset of monsoon too. In Rajasthan, ‘Teej festival’ is held every year in July and August months to mark the advent of monsoon. During this festival, women pray to almighty for good production and buy new clothes and jewellery in anticipation of good monsoon this year. People in Meghalaya also organize a festival called “Behdienkhlam” to invoke the blessings of god for bumper harvest. This festival features religious ceremonies and dancing around a water pool called “eit nar”.

One of the prominent Hindu festivals that mark the beginning of rainy season is ‘Naga Panchami’. This popular Hindu festival is dedicated to Ananta, the serpent upon whose coils Vishnu (The Rain God) rested between universes. People offer milk and worship snake images in temples on this day to protect them from snakebites that are common in areas near to the riverbed.

But, the biggest of all festivals is ‘Sri Jagannath Yatra’ that is celebrated all over the country with much delight. During this festival, the chariot processions of Sri Jagannath are taken throughout the main streets. The biggest of the processions is held in Puri, Orissa where people from all over the world come to this small city to participate in the mega event.

The significance of Monsoon season is much more than giving us enjoyment. In India, rivers are the major life lines on which the country’s population is heavily dependent The rainfall occurs during the Monsoon season fill these rivers and its tributaries with enough water to feed people all through the year. This rainwater is used primarily for drinking and other essential purposes and any shortage of it can create severe problems like drought for us.

Also, good monsoons are a big necessity in our country where farmers rely more on divine help rather than government authorities to bring water to their fields. Timely rains not only solve their water woes but also help them raising a good food production that is so essential to feed such a huge population like of us. With good monsoons, the level of groundwater also increases in urban areas and consequently solving water problems that occur during summer season. Though we are still very much ignorant about water management techniques. With strategic planning like proper canalization, creation of man made reservoirs and water management techniques, we can utilize the natural rainwater in much more efficient manner to boost our agricultural growth as well as solving urban water problems.

The romance of the Indian monsoon, with its abundant rains and lush green landscape that has been rhapsodized down the ages in verse and song, can be promoted as a "unique" tourist attraction. Monsoon in India are exquisite and to fillip the tourist activities during monsoon season, the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) has mooted the idea of providing tourists “a unique experience” in the form of “Special Tourism Packages”. A CII study paper has recommended states like Kerela, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttranchal, Sikkim, and Himachal Pradesh to promote themselves as Monsoon tourism destinations by introducing special schemes to attract tourists within the country and all over the world. These schemes will generate new employment avenues and also help government earn precious foreign exchange that International tourists will spend during their stay in India

Monsoons in Kerala are the most enchanting in India. With green pastures at its best, it is the most sought after destination during rainy season. The state is promoting itself extensively in the field of health tourism especially Ayurveda. The equable climate during Monsoon and natural abundance of herbs and medicinal plants in its flora, Kerala is fast capturing the attention of International tourists as a prime destination to visit during the Monsoon Season. With its abundant water reservoir of waterfalls and natural lakes, Northeastern region is also fast emerging as a hot monsoon destination among local as well as International tourists.

The phrase “Expressions of love and happiness cannot be taught. They come to you naturally,” says it all. Every living entity shows its love for the rains in its own magical way. Immediately, after the rain plants seem to be thrilled and grow much faster and greener with new branches shot up. We can also see peacock dancing in the rain or scurrying of partridge on green fields to show their happiness on arrival of monsoons. In true sense, rains symbolize the life itself. When dark clouds cover the sky and start showering raindrops on us, I heard everyone around me saying “Ah!! Its Monsoon Season.”

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://mayankthinks.blogspot.com/2005/12/ah-monsoon-season.html' title='Ah!! Some of us are struggling in meeting our professional goals, many of us are struggling to manage our personal life and several among us do not know where to start even!!!

Sadly, though, we have no one but ourselves to blame for that because we have made ourselves so accustomed to this word and use it at every single available opportunity. Let’s take an example when we see one of our friends struggling to find a job, we do not think a moment before uttering these words “Oh God!! Poor Fellow is struggling to meet his ends”.

Rather than using such depressing words, how about saying “ Hey Dude!! This is god’s way to test your inner strength. Keep trying … I know you will get an excellent platform soon to showcase your talent.” These encouraging words can indeed give your struggling friend a new confidence and strength to walk during this testing phase.

Sometimes we forget the basic fundamentals of life and faith in the almighty. Nothing is permanent in life and struggle is just a small parcel that life offers to us to give us inner strength and remove weakness inside us. Don’t we take yak!! Tablets when we are ill. Why??? Because these tablets give us the immunity to fight against diseases. The very same way, life gives us the “Struggle” tablets to remove weaknesses we inherit during good times and to give us the new strength to face coming challenges in our journey of life.

Today, we see more failures and personal defeats than what we used to have in the past. The problem lies within us. We never go soul searching to find out the reason behind the struggle. The reason is our loneliness and we are usually left alone to fight against all problems. And one thing is for sure “It’s not easy!!!” May be that’s why a wise man has once said “ We can lessen the burden of problems on us by sharing them.”

So how about sharing each other’s problems and help out each other during Struggling times? The need of hour is to share sense of responsibility and cross this god created obstacle called “Struggle” together because Struggle becomes more struggling when you need to fight alone on your own.

Once a wise man said “It is always easy to break a single wood stick than a pile of wood sticks when bind together.” Today, if we need to reunite our struggling world, we must unite and fight all odds together.

Aren’t you tired of calling yourself “I'm feed up of Struggle in this Struggling World”? Honestly, At least, I’m!!

Mayank

P.S: - Friends, please drop in your comments on this Article because writing on Struggle was itself a struggling job. But thanks to my friends, I managed to clip together some of the points on such a struggling topic which is so vast that it needs series of books to cover all the points.

Sex- is it a naked violence or an eternal truth???

What do you think about sex- an unforgiving sin of Adam and Eve or sharing of true expressions between two souls emotionally and physically?? Frankly speaking, I’m confused and most probably, many of us too.

Since ages, our society is frantically divided between two aspects of this god’s pleasure gift. One section justifies the openness of these wonderful feelings that bind two souls into one entity forever. They justify their statements on the behest of human evolution and freedom of expression. The other section doubts its integrity and calls it a curse of an open society. These people justify their statements with increasing unrest in the society and pour out the entire blame on this so-called ‘Naked violence’. This fight will go on until we ourselves try to find the eternal truth behind Sex and why god has given us the power to share this highest level of emotional feelings.

Undoubtly, sex is a virtue and necessity in its own regard. It is the power of sex because of which we evolve on this earth since ages. No matter how different opinions people have about sex but not a single entity can raise an eyebrow on the true happiness it generates when we dip into this deep ocean of physical love. We all love it yet sadly we all refused to share our personal opinion on it.

The question is whether it is ok to keep sex under wraps and let everyone go through the natural biological cycle to find out the real essence of sex themselves or there is a need to guide them; teach them about how it is being done or what’s the right time to do it??

Sadly, the whole situation is exaggerated by the media especially among western culture where openness has given rise to single parenting, child abuse and growing violence among adolescents. Today, almost every advertisement is a naked expression of arousal display. Even an advertisement on men under garments has some kind of glamour attached to it. Why?? Do they expect women to wear men underwear in so called open society?? You ask advertisement agencies and they call it a nice marketing strategy. If that is so, we must expect sooner or later five-year kids teaching us on how to wear condoms. This is a pity situation and this is what we call ‘Naked Violence’ i.e., unjustifiable display of sex with no real essence.

If we go and watch a movie today it never finishes without a steaming scene between the reel characters. You ask them and they justify their act by saying that they have no inhibitions in showing their beauty or personality. If that is so, do we expect them to make love in front of their real-life kids??? If not, then why on screen where they are watched by millions of kids and teenagers who take them as their real life idols.

We all need awareness if we really dream of an open society. Sex Education at primary levels is a very nice idea but it must be added with moral values to teach them about the significance of this slippery platform where they often slip and fell down. But the question is that whether it is enough or there is lot more to achieve.

You ask any wise man and he will respond to this question by nodding his head positively. Sex Education is must in today’s open society; though not only to adolescents but to all. Be it middle aged men and women who often spread their legs to get feel of unknown territories (extra martial affairs) of this mystery island or old uncle and aunt who often debate behind the bed sheets on when to stop doing it. The fact is we all are swinging our swords with blind folded eyes without realizing the real significance behind this pleasure called Sex.

In my view, Sex is a stamp on a relationship that only stands out physically but emotionally too. You ask any couple in love and ask them about their sex life. They will always tell you about the emotional level that they reach while having pleasure. They don’t need big size pleasure parts to reach climax but contribute their pleasure to compatibility they have between them.

Sadly, though we hear often about rapes, extra-martial affairs, one-night stands, three somes, four somes, and nth somes. This is nothing but negative forces to fulfill our sexual desire without realizing that we are entering a dark pit where no matter how deep we go, we will never reach the eternal sexual feelings which we always crave for since ages.

It’s time to wake up and find the real truth about what is a need of this hour- an open society with naked violence or an open society with respect for other gender, comfort zone before sex and knowledge of the right time when to enter this pleasure of eternal truth.

In nutshell, SEX is a three letter confused word that is often debated. Why is it so and how we can know abt the real essence of SEX.... Well, I’m still evolving myself into this…. I hope you too are....
